It's only the second week of our new Suck It Up & Dance vlog, and already our resident hotsteppers John and Colin are outdoing themselves. First, they lament the departure of James, discuss the difference between sexy bossy and whiny bossy, and decide that the trampy French dance wasn't their cup of tea. Then Colin plays some snippets of his interview with recently-ousted gay dancer James (who's a fan of the vlog, already) and then they do the unthinkable: they visit Mario Lopez at rehearsals for A Chorus Line.

Yes, I just said Mario Lopez.

• An Oregon man is 22 weeks pregnant. Which is really cool if it's not a hoax as some people are claiming. Thomas Beattie, the transgender man at the center of this story gave The Advocate a first-person account of how it feels to be pregnant, and how his family and doctors are reacting.

• Mario Lopez flexes his abs for the cover of his ghostwritten and completely beside the point fitness book. Come on admit it, you'd just be buying it for the shirtless pics of Le Lopez because no amount of crunches is ever going to give you abs like that.

• Shakesville is offering "More 'Gay Looks' for Leno!" It's an ever expanding collection of photos responding to Jay Leno's most recent gay hack humor idiocy.

What do you get when a male celebrity intentionally and self-consciously tries to be sexy? You get bad beefcake. And hey, in my book there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that. Silly though it is, sometimes bad beefcake is actually sort of cute. Case in point: recently a whole series of photos of Gossip Girl’s Chace Crawford popped on the web. No question the boy is adorable - but he might want to rethink the fringe suede jacket, ten gallon hat and come-hither smile. (Okay, he can keep the come-hither smile.) Now that’s bad beefcake, and I love it.

Anyway, Mr. Crawford’s recent photo shoot got me reminiscing about bad beefcake from years past, and I pulled together some of my favorite photos for AfterElton.com readers to enjoy. Brad Pitt, Ralph Fiennes, Rob Lowe, Mario Lopez, Sean Connery – all beautiful men – but all with very bad beefcake lurking in their closet.
