Flaming Politics video blog (Episode 14): The Election Psychic will see you now

This week on Flaming Politics, Japhy uses his awesome psychic powers to predict the future of the general election. If that doesn't get you, the limericks about conservative politics or the vaguely Wagnerian ode to the newly-formed House Gay Equality Caucus will.

Suck It Up & Dance! vlog (Finale, Part 2): The big finish, with Cody Green!

Bravo's Step It Up & Dance has come to an end, and, as you watchers know, Broadway star Cody Green took home the $100,000 grand prize, a big hug from Elizabeth Berkeley and a punch in the chest from Nancy O'Meara. (He doesn't get quite so much love from runner-up Miguel in our new interview with him, but that's not terribly surprising.)

And for the final Suck It Up vlog, John and Colin invited the cutie champ himself - hey, it turned out he lived two blocks from our offices - to talk about his winnings, to look back on the show ... and to teach them a "victory dance." I'd say that with Cody throwing him over his shoulder like a sack of laundry, Colin's the big winner here!

Suck It Up & Dance!: Finale Part 1

Yes, Step It Up & Dance finales come in twos. John and Colin are still playing catch-up, but they finally sit down to chat about all the late-in-the-game drama, including a Nancy O'Meara-Liz Berkley cat-fight and awkward old-people dancing. Ewww!

The guys also discuss what the actual finale will need - and will never include - to juice this number up ... now that it's over.

Suck It Up & Dance! vlog (Episode 8): The "Umbrella" Chronicles

Sorry this is a late one, guys: the Memorial Day weekend threw our fancy-footed crew off! But they promise to make it up to you with an ultra-fab edition of Suck It Up & Dance. So if you did watch last night's episode, jump into your hybrid time machine and zip back to last week, when there were still six dancers and there was a ninety percent chance of rain ...

Last week's Step It Up & Dance was all about Rihanna's "Umbrella" ella, ella, ay, ay... and few people know this number better than one Britney Houston! The Rent star turned New York club stage staple turned Internet phenom stopped by our offices to chat about her life as a dancer, her take on the Bravo show and her hilarious - and amazingly well-done - recreations of music videos from the all pop mega-stars.

I personally love that not only do we not have the cash to splash out for the rights to use the actual music track, but they apparently couldn't afford to get poor Colin more than a $3 bodega umbrella to dance with!

Flaming Politics video blog (Episode 13): Putting Hillary's campaign to rest, and moving on

This week on Flaming Politics, Japhy puts Hillary-talk to rest (at least in his own mind) as he conducts a post-mortem on what worked and what didn't work in her campaign, no character assassination needed. Also, gay victims of the Nazi Holocaust are honored, a Birmingham, AL Mayor puts the kebosh on a pride parade and what you can do to start getting involved in the fight for equal marriage.

The Gay Agenda video blog: A pickle for Hillary

On this week's Gay Agenda, Jennifer Vanasco and John Polly speculate on what will be next for Hillary Clinton if she doesn't get the Democratic presidential nomination. Governor? Senate majority leader? Queen?

Plus: How she opened the door for a future female president ... will she get the credit she deserves? Or is it kind of like when someone who can't open a pickle jar hands it to you and then when you open it they're all, "Oh, well ... I must have loosened up for you" and you're all, "Yeah, whatever..."?

No? K.

Flaming Politics video blog (Episode 11): John McCain, you're the next contestant on "Fierce or Hot Mess?"!

Ever thought politics should be more like a late 70s game show? Well, so does Flaming Politics' Japhy Grant. This week, he invites you to "come on down" to find out the winners and losers of the Democratic Presidential Primary. Plus a story of cops who did nothing to stop attacks at a gay pride parade, and the launch of a new benchmark of queer-friendliness for hospitals.

The Gay Agenda video blog: Hang it up, Hillary

Jay Vanasco and John Polly, your Gay Agenda vlog hosts, hopped on camera to issue an imporant message to Senator Clinton: Stop. It’s time. Even die-hard Hill-o-phile Jay has come to a decison: It’s time to bow out. Watch and discuss, please.

And while you’re watching you can hear about the McGreevey divorce (which seems to have settled?), the Michigan domestic-partnership benefits train wreck, and the happy forthcoming wedding plans of supergay Episcopal Bishop Gene Robinson. He’s been getting death threats (where do you register for those, I wonder?), but he’s undaunted. Jay’s got some good insight on the esteemed pastor because she just interviewed him. Nice!

All this wedding talk gets the two thinking about their own marriage options. Hmmmmm… See it all after the break!

Angry Puppy video blog 26: "Antihistamines Make Lee Snarky" edition

April showers bring May flowers bring a (prescription)-drugged-up Angry Puppy. In between sneezes, Marc and Lee talk about the upcoming NewNowNext Awards, Matt Damon's quaint ideas regarding gaming and the last words you ever wanted to hear from John Barrowman.

Find out where to start reading about everyone's favorite bisexual, blue-collar warlock and where to see two early gay vampires in film. Also, Lee and Marc cover their usual geek shows: Battlestar Galactica, Lost, Doctor Who and Reaper.

The Gay Agenda video blog: Wright to marriage

The Gay Agenda returns today (Jay was out of town traveling for a bit. So jealous!) and today’s topics are the big ones of the week: The Obama/Wright fall-out and hashing out last Sunday’s NY Times Magazine cover story on gay marriage. (Now, if only we could get Rev. Wright to preside at some gay weddings, all of these stories could come full circle, right?)
