The AfterElton.com Hot 100T.R. Knight thanks the fans who voted him onto the AfterElton.com Hot 100
You may have seen over on the main page that today we unleashed the results of the second annual AfterElton.com Hot 100 poll, which asks gay and bisexual men to rank the most dashing, debonair and delectable men in the world. Is it going to win us a Pulitzer? No. But it is interesting to see what men a gay audience find appealing (take that, People's Sexiest Men!) and it's a great excuse to get all OMG over cute guys. And it's not like many guys mind being called "hot" ... in fact, some of this year's listmakers took the time to thank their fans for voting for them. We just received an email from T.R. Knight's folks (his publicist, not his parents) with this charming and characteristically sweet response from the actor regarding his making today's list: "Wait a second … I don’t even have abs! Thank you, AfterEltoners, I’m very flattered.” If you haven't checked out the list yet, it features comments from a handful of high-ranking noms, including out actors Neil Patrick Harris, John Barrowman and Cheyenne Jacskon, as well as gay-faves Gareth David-Lloyd, Jo Weil, Van Hansis and Jake Silbermann. Congrats to all who made the list, and thanks to everyone who voted! Now go cut yourself a nice hot slice of beefcake and enjoy. Submitted by on Mon, 2008-06-02 13:50. J.P. Calderon makes the AfterElton.com Hot 100 List
Today's the last day before the big unveiling of the list of 100 men who you, our man-crazy readers, think are the hottest men on the planet. So feast your eyes on one J.P. Calderon, an openly gay volleyball coach turned Survivor player turned model turned Janice Dickinson chew-toy. Though Calderon's interests have varied over the years, there's been one constant: He's smokin' hot. Check out a few considerably racier pics after the jump, and be sure to check back Monday for the big reveal! Submitted by on Fri, 2008-05-30 13:05. Rufus Wainwright makes the AfterElton.com Hot 100 List!
We're getting agonizingly close to the unveiling of the results of the second annual AfterElton.com Hot 100 poll, and have just a few more sneak peeks with which to tempt your mancandy-hungry tummies. Today's winner is out singer/songwriter/Judy Garland enthusiast Rufus Wainwright. While the slender Canadian isn't freshly out or new to the scene by any means, this is his first year making the list. We think it may have something to do with his phenomenal 2007 album, Release the Stars, but his pouty good looks may have played a part as well. And who doesn't have a soft spot for a man not afraid to play the talk show circuit in lederhosen? Enjoy a few more pics of Wainwright after the jump, and be sure to check back Monday for the big reveal of the full AfterElton.com Hot 100 List! Submitted by on Thu, 2008-05-29 14:23. Lee Pace makes the AfterElton.com Hot 100 List!
In our continuing leak of molten hotness leading up to Monday's unveiling of the 2008 AfterElton.com Hot 100 List, we present to you ... newcomer Lee Pace! Last year the adorable actor didn't make the list, and was probably off the RADAR of most readers who didn't catch his role on Wonderfalls or didn't recognize him as transgender performer Calpernia Adams in Soldier's Girl. But thanks to a little show called Pushing Daisies, the goofy charms of everyone's favorite re-animating pieman are now widely known. You folks placed him on the hotlist this year ... but how high? Check back Monday to find out, and in the meantime, enjoy a few more pics of Pace after the jump. Submitted by on Wed, 2008-05-28 11:02. James McAvoy makes the AfterElton.com Hot 100 List
In our ongoing leak of gorgeous men leading up to the unveiling of the 2008 AfterElton.com Hot 100 List, we thought we'd share that the Scottish actor James McAvoy made it onto the list for a the first time this year. He's been on something of an upswing recently, what with his romantic lead role in Atonement, and his forthcoming movie Wanted, where he stars opposite Angelina Jolie.
McAvoy in a scene from Wanted Now that one I've got to see. Curious if McAvoy broke the top 20 this year? Check back on June 2 to find out! And in the meantime, enjoy the preview trailer for Wanted after the break! Submitted by on Tue, 2008-05-27 13:58. Mario Lopez makes the AfterElton.com Hot 100 List
In our ongoing leak of gorgeous men leading up to the unveiling of the 2008 AfterElton.com Hot 100 List, we thought we'd share that Mario Lopez of Saved By the Bell and Dancing with the Stars fame makes it onto the list for a second year. He clocked in at a very impressive #16 on our 2007 list. Curious if he's risen or fallen from that ranking? Check back on June 2 to find out! (And in the meantime, you can enjoy a particularly fine pic of Mario after the jump...) Submitted by on Fri, 2008-05-23 14:29. Ronnie Kroell makes the AfterElton.com Hot 100 List
In our ongoing leak of gorgeous men leading up to the unveiling of the 2008 AfterElton.com Hot 100 List, allow me to direct your attention to a newcomer to this year's list: One Ronnie Kroell, aspiring supermodel, reality show star, and future President of the United States. Ronnie won our hearts with his refreshing candor (not to mention dashing looks) during the run of Make Me a Supermodel, but his drive and passion are what got him to the final two. We imagine a combination of the above landed him a spot on the Hot 100 ... but where, I wonder? Check back on June 2 to find out! (And in the meantime, you can find some more pics of Ronnie after the jump...) Submitted by on Thu, 2008-05-22 12:01. Jensen Atwood makes the AfterElton.com Hot 100
We won't reveal the full (and oh, how full it is...) AfterElton.com Hot 100 list until June 2nd, but in the meantime we'll be leaking a man a day to whet your whistles. Today's hottie is actor Jensen Atwood, whom most folks know from gay shows Noah's Arc and Dante's Cove. I actually met Atwood earlier this week at the NewNowNext Awards, and he's just as handsome in person as you'd hope (and a sweetheart, to boot). I also learned from Atwood and Noah's Arc creator Patrik-Ian Polk that Jensen will definitely appear in the recently-wrapped Noah's Arc movie (it was up in the air for a while), which is great news for fans. Last year Atwood placed on the list at #43. To find out where he lands this year, check back on June 2nd! Submitted by on Wed, 2008-05-21 11:42.
