• Out designer Tom Ford is designing the costumes for the world's best-dressed spy in the next James Bond film, Quantum of Solace. If anyone knows how to make Daniel Craig look his best, Ford does.

• Here's a fun 20 Questions with the always-entertaining Alan Cumming (he makes mention of his husband, Grant, which is very sweet).

• According to an authoritative new biography of Hugh Hefner, he once kinda-sorta had a sexual encounter with another man. Which is probably the least scandalous thing ever to happen in the pleasure baron's storied life.

• Our pal John Polly over at NewNowNext was at the impressively star-studded Provincetown Film Festival over the weekend and has a great roundup of all the fun.

• Boy George's plans for a big US tour this summer are dampened by his inability to obtain a visa. First Amy Winehouse is denied entry, and now George? Next thing you know they'll excommunicate the cremains of Billie Holiday.

• Finally, eyewitness proof that gay men are boosting the continued success of So You Think You Can Dance? in all its forms. As though we needed proof.

• This NSFW outtake from Tom Ford's recent Out magazine cover shoot doesn't exactly make me eager to find out what his fragrance smells like...

• Naked for a Cause: Australian rugby and soccer players pose naked to raise money for breast cancer. Alright, I'll make it easier: Naked ... Australian ... soccer players.

• Okay, when I first saw this hit the wire I mistakenly thought the publication was satire paper The Onion, not The Orion ... and the headline didn't suggest otherwise: "Coming Out Month spurs LGBT film series addressing issues in homosexual community." Related: "Hispanic Heritage Month spurs film series addressing Hispanic heritage"

• Barrowmania! checks in to Hotel Babylon with this guest-spot casting rumor...
  

• The Log Cabin Republicans bring the snark in a biting anti-Romney ad.
  

• Did David Duchovny trip over the gay in the rug at the Outfest Legacy Awards? OutinHollywood says "no"...

• Comedian David Cross to Larry the Cable Guy: "I do not think that you are anti-gay ... Your stuff isn't necessarily anti-gay but rather stupid and easy ... Because when you say "queer" you get an easy laugh. End of story."

• Out's coverman Tom Ford is a lover and a fighter...

• Incredible Hunk Eric Bana to voice a gay character in an upcoming animated movie. So if you close your eyes and pretend, it's almost as good as the real thing.
  

The other night in NYC artist Aaron Young unleashed his live art event "Greeting Card", which involved a screeching cacophony of motorcycles doodling on the floor as celebrities gaged on fumes. (Likely underselling it a bit there, but that's what it looks like to me.)

A few out-and-proud fellas and a few gay-faves were part of the exclusive crowd, and looked pretty for cameras ... and, therefore, you.

There have been a bunch of out gay men from all walks popping up on talk shows lately: Tom Ford dropped by Martha to preview his new men's line and whip up some pecan pralines, out NBA Hall-of-Famer John Amaechi gave Stephen Colbert a few good laughs (and vicey-versey), and gay pop-star-turned-designer Eduardo Xol from Extreme Makeover: Home Edition cooled his heels with the iVilliage people just this morning.

The most entertaining of the bunch was of course Amaechi on Colbert -- both because Amaechi is an unflaggingly charming guest and because Colbert is pretty much as good as it gets when it comes to comedically inspired interviewing. The two guys obviously really hit it off, which is always a pleasure to watch, and Colbert's repeated references to Amaechi's being British made a very clever parallel between his born ancestry and his likewise naturally-determined sexuality.
