Who Would You Trade Bodies With?

The body-switch comedy is a popular movie genre. The idea of literally spending a day in another person's skin is compelling enough that Hollywood keeps returning to it. There was Jodie Foster and Barbara Harris in the original Freaky Friday, Corey Feldman and Jason Robards in Dream a Little Dream, Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan in the Freaky Friday remake, and this weekend at the cineplex Ryan Reynolds and Jason Bateman will be trading places in The Change-Up.

With the latest body-switch comedy about to hit theaters, we've been having fun in the AE breakroom casting the other half of our own body-switch stories. The hot topic: If you could switch places with anyone, who would it be?

This is fairly simple for me. While I do love the beefy, hairy guys, I wouldn't know what to do with that bulk. I'm tall and lanky, and I'd like to keep that, except, well, younger and hotter. Josh Duhamel fits the bill at 6'4" of lean muscle is perfect for me, and not so different I'd be knocking down everything in my path. And that scene in Las Vegas where he exits the pool in a tiny squarecut swimsuit melts the mind.

Growing up, football was a huge part of my life and I not only wanted to date an NFL quarterback, I wanted to be one and win a Super Bowl on the final play of the game. So if I had to swap bodies with someone, it would be Tom Brady of the New England Patriots. Except he would have to be gay so I could still meet my partner Brent. Otherwise, not even winning the Super Bowl and being incredibly hot would be worth giving up Brent.

Easy. I would switch bodies with Chris Colfer. The world is basically his oyster right now (despite the minor kerfuffle with the future of his character on Glee, but that's another issue) — He's getting major writing gigs handed to him, he's playing a historic character on a hit TV show, his whole job is singing and dancing his heart out, and he gets to make out with Darren Criss.

Best life ever.
