TV on Tap: Parker Posey to Play an Ex-Wife on "The Good Wife" and Josh Groban is an "Office" Brother

John Gidding joins the judges table on tonight's Design Star.
News
The cast of The Good Wife continues to get gayer with the addition of gay-fave Parker Posey who will play Eli Gold (Alan Cumming)'s ex-wife in an episode set to air in October. Previously, the legal drama added Harvey Fierstein and cast a boyfriend for Owen. I'm thinking about starting an office pool on who will join the show next. My pick would be Posey's Best in Show co-star Michael McKean.
The Office's Andy Bernard now has a brother, Josh Groban. However, it's not clear if Groban will appear in the same episode where Stephen Collins and Dee Wallace will play Andy's parents. I was hoping the show might cast either one of the actors playing Collins' children from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia for the unofficial crossover.
Speaking of crossovers, CBS is planning to have a meeting of Hawaii 5-O and NCIS: Los Angeles as Daniela Ruah will be appearing on the Aloha State-set show as her NCIS character.
On his way to the final season of Breaking Bad, star Bryan Cranston will be making a detour in Springfield. The former Malcolm in the Middle dad will lend his voice to The Simpsons in April, playing a suave spy who appears in Homer's imagination to offer advice. I guess it'll be an animated Play It Again, Sam?
Meanwhile, the dependably-funny Stephen Root will be appearing on Raising Hope in the near future. Root will play Sabrina's father, who I hope will clash with Jimmy's family.
It's been a weekend full of casting news including word that Molly Shannon is headed to The Middle as Patricia Heaton's sister.
I guess stilts and Kardashian guest-judges aren't enough to chase viewers away. Lifetime is bragging that Project Runway has continued to gain viewers since the season premiere.
