TV on Tap: "Community" Fans Plan a Flash Mob, "Homeland" is Definitely a Hit, and How Will "30 Rock" Handle the Death of Kim Jong-Il?

Kathy Griffin's back with a new comedy special, Tired Hooker.

News

30 Rock fans were quick to wonder if their show would be affected by recent events. After all, this season is supposed to revisit the fate of Avery, who was kidnapped by the North Korean Government and forced to marry Kim Jong-un. Will there be re-shoots to keep up with the state of the world?

The 80s repurposed-footage series Bloopers is coming back, this time as a weekly syndicated half-hour series.

G4 is getting a cooking show. Well, kinda. The tech network is making a pilot based on the YouTube series EpicMealTime, with over-the-top dishes like fast food pizza topped with KFC popcorn chicken, a Taco Bell taco, Wendy's french fries and a lot more.

I'm getting more interested in Lifetime's upcoming series The Client List as more casting gets announced. Not only has Colin Egglesfield (one of the many hunky actors from the doomed Melrose Place reboot) signed up to play Jennifer Love Hewitt's brother-in-law, Mad Men and Playboy Club's Naturi Naughton will appear as one of the masseuses at the "day spa with benefits".

Another very funny person agrees to appear on a very unfunny sitcom.

Predicting the chances of Community getting another season is tough because the ratings are bad, but NBC understands the value of all that internet buzz. Fans of the show are planning to attempt to remind NBC about their strong feelings for the comedy by organizing a flash mob outside of Rockefeller Plaza on Thursday afternoon. The mob will be wearing felt goatees, I presume because a world without Community is clearly the darkest timeline.

Whenever Cougar Town returns, Busy Phillips' will be romancing a soldier played by Edwin Hodge, the brother of Leverage's Aldis Hodge.

The season finale of Homeland had a huge audience, the biggest for a freshman series on Showtime and a 58% increase on the series' premiere.
