Starz Prez Announces 2nd Season of "Spartacus" Going to Happen
At the Winter TCA Press Tour on Friday Starz president Chris Albrecht announced that a second season of Spartacus is going to go forward even though the part of Spartacus, previously played by Andy Whitfield, has yet to be cast.
Albrecht said that even though no one could replace Whitfield, he was confident they would find an actor who play the part.
The prequel to Spartacus: Blood and Sand, titled Gods of the Arena, debuts January 21st.
