Watch Now! Britney Spears "Performing" on "Good Morning America"

Say what you will about Britney Spears, you have to admit the girl has pluck. Even as some are questioning her emotional stability, she's still out there promoting the hell out of her album "Femme Fatale," which is out today.

She taped a performance in San Francisco on Sunday for airing today on Good Morning America, and while the fans in the audience loved it, you have to wonder about the mindset of someone who refers to her as the ultimate performer.

We all know that Britney doesn't actually sing live (and as Kathy Griffin pointed out, on her last tour Britney 'sang" every song in the exact order it appeared on the album), but her performance of "Hold It Against me" was lethargic and confused. I hate to say this, but the first thing I thought of when I saw it was "Anna Nicole Smith."

Her performance of "Til The World Ends" was less cringe-inducing (at least she seemed awake), but the song is wretched, and I couldn't make it all the way through.

So tell me, Brit fans (and I know she has plenty here), what am I missing? What makes her so special to you? It can't be her singing voice, because I don't think we've ever heard it outside a studio.
