Watch the First 15 Minutes of HBO's "Game of Thrones!"

We're still two weeks away from the debut of the first season of HBO's Game of Thrones, but the network just released the first fifteen minutes of the series which debuts on April 17th. Since the show includes a couple of gay characters (Loras Tyrell [Finn Jones] and Renly Baratheon [Gethin Anthony]), we're planning on covering it pretty extensively, and thought this clip would give you a taste of what to expect.

Our gay characters don't appear here, but the clip nicely establishes the mood and tone of the series which chronicles a power struggle in the Seven Kingdoms after the death of someone very powerful. Being a huge fan of the books, I think the series nails the atmosphere nicely and the casting seems well done.

Take a peek! Even though the show reportedly contains some rather racy scenes, this is pretty much safe for week although there is some violence.
