Teddy Sears Cast as Zachary Quinto's Partner on "American Horror Story"

The reasons to watch Ryan Murphy's upcoming psychosexual thriller American Horror Story keep piling up. Last week it was announced that Zachary Quinto (Star Trek, Heroes) was joining the show as Chad, one of the deceased owners of the house where strange things are happening to current residents Ben Harmon (Dylan McDermott) and his wife Vivien (Connie Britton). 

Now comes word that 34-year-old Teddy Sears has been cast as Chad's partner. If Sears looks familiar, it's because he's appeared on quite a few shows including Raising the Bar and One Life to Live, as well as in the movie A Single Man.

Sears seems like perfectly fine casting but given that AHS is currently an all white cast, it's hard not to wonder if the show couldn't have cast an actor who is black, Asian, Indian or Hispanic in the part.

That issue aside, what do you think of Sears' joining the show?
