Because the early going is basically just whittling down the cast to a reasonable number, we're going to eschew a regular recap and just focus on the highlights.

Pet Project

This week's competition takes the designers to a pet store, where Tim Gunn tells them that this is one of Project Runway's "unconventional challenges." Wait, aren't most of them? The have to design an outfit made entirely of pet products, but makes a point again that it should be "unconventional," something that one poor Mormon boy should've listened to.

Honey Badger Don't Give A Sh*T

Bert Keeter became an instant audience favorite with his win last week, but apparently he believes that "immunity" means "i'll just take this challenge off." He was shockingly apathetic, and even admitted as much. The look on Tim's face when he saw Bert's horrific black blob of a dress was priceless, and Heidi summed it up perfectly by telling him, "you are so lucky you had immunity."
