"Revenge" Episode 105: "You Staggered Home Like A Drunken Sailor!"

That first step is a doozy.

This week's episode of Reven8e starts off with a bang, as we see Lydia (who was Emily's first target, but has refused to go away) make a major impact on the show. Oh, c'mon.

We then flash back to when life was so much more simple ... two days earlier.

Lydia is trying to silkworm her way back in to Victoria's good graces, but the Queen is having none of it, especially when she learns that Conrad paid her $10 million dollars to keep her silence about framing Emily's father.

Nolan (who is officially my favorite character) introduces a new and important cast member, Shamu Cam. He places it in Emily's house, hoping to spy on her, but when Emily packs up some of Lydia's belongings to send to her, Shamu gets mixed in with the self-help books and tacky knickknacks, and soon Nolan has a surprising window into Lydia's apartment.

Taking advantage of the situation, Nolan observes Lydia threatening to expose Conrad's misdeeds, and then observes Lydia discovering something even more explosive.

Victoria is still trying to apologize to Charlotte for the whole, "I wish you were never born," whoopsie, but not even the re-gift of a $200,000 car can unbruise her feelings. Charlotte takes Declan for a joyride that results in their arrest for speeding, which might mean more if I cared about either character.

Charlotte is still heartbroken that video killed the radio star

The real meat of the story takes place at the Big Gala Thing, which is being thrown to honor the Graysons for their charity work helping out the victims of the terrorist bombing they helped cause.

It's clear that Victoria still has immense guilt about what happened, and it gets worse when the truly evil Frank calls from Lydia's apartment after breaking in to gather information. He found Lydia's speech for the Gala, in which she spills the beans about the cover-up, and thinking fast, Victoria tries to fake forgiveness with Lydia before she gives her speech.

It works, temporarily, as Lydia forgoes her scorched earth speech in favor of a treacly tribute to the Graysons, but Victoria later makes it clear her olive branch was a ruse, and any relationship they have will be strictly for appearances only.

Lydia is crushed. Oh wait, I'm getting ahead of myself. She comes home to find Frank waiting for her, and after accusing her of being behind everything, the two have a knock-down, drag-out fight, ending with Lydia taking a Looker-esque fall onto a taxi. And if you know what Looker-esque means, you have my undying love.

After Frank leaves, Nolan breaks in, per Emily's orders, to retrieve the incriminating picture of her in that hilarious black wig. He hears a commotion on the street, and looks down to see Lydia's body, and runs out, grabbing Shamu on the way. After viewing the fight with Frank and Lydia, he frantically calls Emily to tell her that all hell has broken loose.

Unfortunately, Emily doesn't get the call, because she's too busy finally bedding Daniel! Was this part of her plan?

Beefcake/Bait

Daniel and Tyler are getting dressed together when Tyler thanks for him the loan of his suit. Daniel responds,"You wear it well."
