"Project Runway:" The Filler Episode

Last night was part one of the finale show on Project Runway, which means it's the episode that's completely unnecessary.

The only interesting part of these penultimate episodes is when Tim visits the finalists in their homes, but that could be easily incorporated into the real finale.

And after 90 minutes of hearing Heidi say , "One of you will be out, One of you will be out, one of you will be out," guess what? No one is out.

So what was the point?

As soon as Kimberly was chosen as the third designer, I knew they were gonna pull the "Oh, you're all so fabulous, we decided everyone goes on" trick, and sure enough, Anya was spared.

Ugh. Anyway, let's a look at each designer, and what they had to offer the judges this week.

Viktor Luna

Viktor had the best collection, and I went back and forth, but finally decided that I like the white beaded jacket. Barring a colossal f**k-up, I don't see anyone else winning this competition.

Joshua McKinley

Not as awful as I expected, but the first dress, with it's handy "easy ass access" zipper was atrocious.

Kimberly Goldson

Meh. The only thing that really stood out was that hilarious poofy skirt. Your model should not look like she just filled her britches.

Anya Ayoung-Chee

Oh dear. How in the hell did she move on with this collection? The first design (which all the judges loved) looked like Pebbles Flintstone turning tricks, the bathing suit was very ill-fitting, and that last thing looked like a fitted sheet.

What did you think? Did all these designers deserve to move forward? Who would you have cut, and who do you think is going to win this season?

And in case you missed it, head over and watch After The Runway, with the return of Anthony, Anya talking about her sex tape, and ... Viktor and Josh getting drunk together.
