"Project Runway Season Nine Finale:" And The Winner Is ...

Last night was the Season Finale of Project Runway, and as soon as it was over, I couldn't help but take to Twitter to squawk.

I'm going to try to refrain, but I'm not making any promises.

Let's face it ... this season stunk.

Well, there were a few bright spots.

We got to know the extremely likable and charismatic Anthony, as well as the alien cipher Olivier. Bert had an interesting backstory, and on every episode we learned that Josh's mother died.

What else? Umm ... Oh, remember that time Kim got scared of the roach and jumped on the table? That was pretty funny ...

Okay, I admit it. I'm stalling so I don't have to talk about what happened on the finale. But we may as well get it over with.

So the four finalists hit Fashion Week, and showed their designs. So how did each one fare? Let's find out.

Kimberly Goldson

Kim was a longshot coming into the finale, so coming in fourth wasn't a big surprise. Al least we finally got to see her smile and laugh, which was almost impossible during the competition.

Viktor Luna

The frontrunner for weeks, I said last week that it would take a colossal f**k-up for him not to win. He ended up in third, behind Josh and Anya. I repeat, third, behind Josh and Anya. Yes, some of his new designs were off the mark, but ... third, behind Josh and Anya?

Joshua McKinley

Second place. Josh came in second place, beating Viktor. Bless his heart.

Anya Ayoung-Chee

Congratulations to Anya for being the best designer this season. She won, so she must be, right? Oh, and congrats to her for winning fan favorite. Anthony was in the lead until the final day, when Anya suddenly received tens of thousands of votes. Wow!
