Watch! Andrew Returns to "Desperate Housewives," Brings New Baggage

It's been quite a while since we've seen anything of substance from the character of Andrew on Desperate Housewives, and even longer since we've seen any glimpse of his ex-adult film star, now doctor partner Alex.

That changes on this week's episode, when both men came back into Bree's life ... but it wasn't a happy reunion.

Bree gets a call early in the morning from the invaluable-to-this-show Mrs. McCluskey, who informs her that she has something that belongs to Bree. Here's a hint, "It reeks of mai-tai's and you gave birth to it."

Bree gets Dr. Alex and the two of them bring Andrew home, as Mrs. McCluskey clucks "If I wanted a drunk homo on my couch, I would've married my college boyfriend!"

Don't ever change, you glorious old biddy.

It turns out that Andrew has tuned into a major lush, and Dr. Alex is ready to walk out. Can Bree change his mind?

Controlling momster that she is, Bree tricks Andrew in to attending an AA meeting. He protests that everyone will know that he's here with his mother, but she insists that no one need know that they are related.

Bad move on Bree's part, as Andrew (using the name Elvis) lets loose with a barrage of insults at "Attilla The Mom," and Bree has to sit back and take it.

Actually, I'm a little disappointed that Andrew chose such a lame, obvious alias. If I am ever in that situation, you can bet they'll be referring to me as "Richard Spirt," or "Ed Kennedy."
