"Supernatural" Recap Episode 711: "... and Life Will Go On"
As I predicted, it was only a matter of time before Brothers Winchester would decide that Bella Swann and Co. were a threat to humanity and act up on it.
We’ll get to that in a minute, but…first things, first.
Okay, so before we go any further, here’s a quick refresher for those pulled a Frank Deveraux and went completely off the grid for the past couple of months.
After winning the war in heavens, Castiel decided he no longer wanted to play God and quietly effervesced into oblivion, releasing Leviathans, Biblical beasts of the Purgatory, on Earth. As Leviathans started a slow process of taking over the world by feeding everyone Turducken Burgers, Lucifer returned trying to remind Sam what good bunk-buddies they made. By the time Dean managed to convince Sam that Lucifer was not a stalkery-ex, just a nightmare, Uncle Bobby done and got hisself shot in the head and died.

Open with a man sitting in a low-key diner, gazing wistfully at a hooker outside. The waitress, Marlene, remarks that he has been coming back for a couple nights in a row, to which he dismissively replies the he likes the ambience. Then he heads out to follow the hooker and her John (not you, AE reader John).
He is searching for the girl and her client who have disappeared behind a couple of trucks when he is ambushed by the waitress. She explains that she roofied him with her venom and slams him into the truck. All because of a crappy tip.
Talk about horrible service.

At Casa Winchester, after almost month of moping around, the brothers try to deal with Bobby’s death – each in his own way. While Sam flirts with the idea of starting over again (baby steps, we call them), Dean is hell bent on avenging Bobby’s death and killing Dick Roman, the Leviathan head-case.
When Sam proposes calling Bobby’s people and telling them the news, Dean dismisses it asking “Why is it our job?”
Uh… because he was your surrogate father, and you were pretty much all he had? At least that’s what Sammy reminds him.
But Dean has more important things on his mind. Namely, Bobby’s legacy… a.k.a. the numbers he scratched on Sam’s hand, before kicking the bucket. And the fact that Frank Deveraux hasn’t called him with results yet is bothering him. So much so that he doesn’t even remember drinking his beer.
Or did he!?

While the brothers are contemplating whether to call Bobby’s people or not, Bobby’s cell gets a call from a young girl who claims her dad told her to call Bobby in case she didn’t hear from him for a long time. But since Bobby is “not available” she hangs up, prompting Sam to wonder if the little kid or her father is in some kind of danger.
Since Frank has not yet responded, Dean thinks it’s better if Sammy checks out the kid while he tries to hunt Frank down.
I know I should scream “Déjà vu”, but it seems redundant.
