"Warehouse 13": "Oh Baby ... Jinksy Is Getting Laid Tonight!"

And after you find Jinks, find out whatever happened to Kelly LeBrock.

Previously, on Warehouse 13...

Gay agent Steve Jinks (Aaron Ashmore) was fired by Warehouse Regent Mrs. Frederic after he refused to allow her to torture Regent killer Sally for information.

Steve hasn't been seen since, and it' s driven BFF Claudia to take up a career as a sad, alt-rock coffeehouse chanteuse.

Meanwhile, big baddie Walter Sykes (Anthony Michael Hall) is intent on getting revenge on all of the Regents (especially Pete's mother), and he orders henchman Marcus (Sasha Roiz) to try to lure Steve to the dark side ... by any means necessary.

"I'll smolder the hell out of him!"

And tonight's episode ... "Late Afternoon to Early Evening of the Living Dead"

They want braaaaains! Thank God Pete is safe.

Storyline "A"

We take a breather from the My Mom Is A Regent/Hunting the Regent Killer this week, as Pete's mom is in hiding, and he and Myka are back to searching for fun artifacts.

Pete is convinced that a string of attacks by people who have been turned into flesh-eaters is the result of a zombie outbreak, which only intensifies when he's bitten, and is convinced he's going to turn.

The twist is that Pete is fine, and Myka is the one who's slowly turning. The symptoms are coldness, clammy pale skin, and cannibalism. Thank God for that cannibalism or they'd never know she was infected.

"F**k you, recapper"

They trace the infection back to a taco truck, which may seem silly, but trust me, the morning after I have my Baja Beef Chalupa pig-out, I also feel like death.

The infection doesn't come from the food though (as Myka says, "Eat from a food truck ... who am I, Pete?") As they arrive at the truck, Myka tries to attack Pete, and as the car is swarmed by the infected, Pete runs to the taco truck and tries to figure out what the artifact is before the annoying dead break through the door.

Pete realizes that the artifact is the truck tip jar, and smashes it on the ground, eliminating the infection.

Artie explains that the glass jar was used by the Donner party on their ill-fated trip, and putting money in the jar causes the victims to experience cannibalistic urges.

So what worked, and what didn't work in storyline "A?"

I loved Storyline "A" for a change, because I share Pete's exuberance when it comes to zombie lore, and because "Glass Jar From The Donner Party" is exactly the kind of whackadoodle-ness that made me fall in love with this show.
