Shear Genius Recap – 1.1 – “Carrot Top in Drag”

Ben's model looks absolutely nothing like Sienna Miller, but Roy likes it anyway. Shut up, Roy. His client seems to be happy too, so, whatever.

Not so happy is Jim's client. Jim is trying hard to sell it and she somehow manages to keep a smile on her face, but when the judges question her directly, she admits she's not crazy about the color. I'd say that's the understatement of the year. Roy actually grimaced when he saw her on the runway.

Daisy's client is also unhappy, but she's not even bothering to try and hide it. She's miserable and she wants everyone to know it. Daisy explains that she did what she could in the time she had, but she knew there wasn't enough time to do what the client wanted. The judges berate her for not telling her client no. While Daisy is distracted, her client takes the opportunity to grab a pair of scissors and stab her again and again. Okay, I'm only imagining that is what she is fantasizing about doing.

Next up is Anthony . His client looks great and she knows it. She can't keep her hands out of her hair which, rather amusingly irks, Anthony. The judges love the style and ask her how she feels. She growls, “I feel sexy!” Folks, I think we have our winner.
