Celebrity Twitterwatch: Making an Appearance Edition

If your arm is tired after signing and needs a massage, call me!

Here at Twitterwatch, we never get to see our celebrities in person, because we never step away from the computer for fear of missing a tweet (and Logo won't spring for iPads). But it's nice to know that if we ever left our desks, in theory there are celebrities out there at book stores, restaurants, and theme parks that I could run into.

Above you can see rugby hottie, good daddy, and all around nice guy Ben Cohen out signing copies of his 2011 Ben Cohen calendar. Judging by that stack of boxes full of the date books behind him, he's just getting started. But he kept signing until everyone was happy.

Russell Tovey seems like such a down to earth guy, despite a fascination with complicated books and works of fine art that are always showing up in his Twitter. He goes out to a fancy restaurant, and he gets called sir. He likes being called sir. I'm willing to call him sir. Just sayin'.

Seeing double at The Grove

Above you can see the twins who play Baby Lily on Modern Family out and about while filming on location at The Grove in Los Angeles. But that wasn't the field trip they were looking forward to, and they're not happy with their onscreen daddy Jesse Tyler Ferguson.

Wasn't it great seeing the Chilean miners rescued this week? Coming from mining country, and having lived through the Big Branch Mine disaster this year, seeing this happy ending was really special. But nothing is above a little joking when there's a happy outcome. Well, the one guy who was met by his mistress instead of his wife ... we're still not sure how happy he is to be above ground.
