I am a Boston-based lawyer for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, but in my spare time, I write. In June 2008, Arcade Publishing will release the book that will probably send me straight to hell: a wickedly funny memoir about being a gay Catholic during the same-sex marriage debates in Massachusetts. I also write gay romance novels with my partner of seven years Scott Whittier. (Yes, two Scotts.) We call our line of novels Romentics. We have also written a book about wine called the Q Guide to Wine & Cocktails. A few odd facts: I love kayaking, I never watch TV, I have three godchildren (two of which seem to be turning out gay with no help or encouragement from their godfather!), and wish I had a bigger space to store a collection of fine wines. But if all you got is a beer, that's good, too.
