Neil Patrick Harris and Lance Bass Talk Teens, Bullying, and Hope

With the recent suicides of youths who have been bullied because of their sexuality — specifically the tragedy of Rutgers student Tyler Clementi — the subject of bullying has shot back into the headlines.
Several celebrities have stepped forward to offer their thoughts on the matter with MTV.
How I Met Your Mother and Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle star Neil Patrick Harris sent MTV a heartfelt, personally made a video for kids who are being bullied in school.
And N'Sync's Lance Bass reminds us that sometimes, the meanest kids have secrets of their own.
It's great to see gay Hollywood reaching out to the youth in crisis. There was a time not so long ago that we didn't have out, mainstream role models to rally for the community.
