Five Propaganda Films to Watch Alongside Sarah Palin’s "Undefeated"

Daughter... Wife... Mother... Warrior.... Lamestream Media Target

When we saw that the big screen Sarah Palin story was going to be called Undefeated, we thought to ourselves, "That’s a funny name for a documentary about a woman who got thwacked in a national election." And then the trailer for Undefeated dropped, and we realized the makers of the film never learned the difference between "documentaries" and "fairy tales."

If you like Undefeated, you'll love these five other documentaries made by the same production team.

Good Guy: The Life and Times of Darth Vader

The opening scene says it all: A narrator asks, "When you hear the word "hero," you think..." And hundreds of people — of all ages, nationalities, and religions — respond, "Darth Vader, Darth Vader, Darth Vader, Darth Vader." Has there ever been a name that brings to mind goodness and light like Darth Vader? Humble warrior, adoring father, easy breather: Darth Vader was one of the noblest Jedi any galaxy has ever known. Always using the Force for the right thing, never blowing up shit for giggles. It's time for all of us to embrace our inner Darth Vader and change the world. Watch Good Guy and remember the good things in life worth fighting for.

King Cobra: Nature's Teddy Bear

Parents all over the world share a common problem: Their children won't go to sleep. Some kids are afraid of the dark; some are afraid of monsters under their bed; some just aren't tired, or need another glass of water, or a small snack, or one more hug. Even adults have a hard time sleeping. And that is why God invented the King Cobra. "I used to worry about money and my marriage all night long," one serpent owner tells filmmakers, "But that was before I started cuddling up with my King Cobra every night."

Warm and furry, with an amiable demeanor and a loyal disposition, King Cobras make for a perfect bedmate. Tuck one under your child's covers and she'll be begging for bedtime. When asked about his favorite moment filming the documentary, director Salazar Slytherin said, "We had a few King Cobras on set, and they loved to hang around craft services, but they never ate until everyone else had had their fill, and even then, they just enjoyed a few bites of salad."

Moonshine: Just Like Water

If you've ever wandered through the desert on your hands and knees, or run a couple of miles, or stood in line for over half an hour at an amusement park, you know the perils of dehydration. Many "experts" in the field of hydration would have you believe water is the answer to your problems. But what those "experts" don't tell you is that moonshine is just as good at re-hydrating you as pinko liberal water. Follow filmmakers as they spread the message of Moonshine's restorative properties. "It doesn't make my throat feel like I've swallowed gasoline," one new believer says. "I totally kept my virginity after drinking a jar full of it" says another. It's safe, it's natural, and you'll feel awesome the next morning now matter how little you drink. From the corn fields to the backwoods stills to the black market, moonshine is eclipsing water. Watch the story, become a believer.

Jerry Falwell: Best Friend of Gays

If there's one thing Pastor Jerry Falwell was known for, it was his message of unconditional love and acceptance of the queer community. The founder of Liberty University and longtime leader of Thomas Road Baptist Church was often heard saying things to gay people like, "You're on the right track, baby; you were born this way!" Follow filmmakers as they retrace Falwell's now-famous Steps of Equality, a movement that raised bazillions of dollars for LGBT charities. And relive his most famous sermons, those Sundays when he took to the pulpit to encourage the Constitutional right to separation of church and state, and those other Sundays when he rallied his church members to get themselves on the right side of history. Perhaps the most moving moments of the the documentary are when Falwell's good friends James Dobson, Bishop Eddie Long and Pope Benedict XVI remember all the good times they spent together, planning ways to wake the world a warmer, safer place for people of all sexual orientations.

Healer: The Chuck Norris Story

In an era of war and apocalypse, one man took his pacifist message around the world. That man was Chuck Norris. Doctors say the three leading causes of death are heart disease, cancer, and Chuck Norris. But can we really believe anything a doctor tells us?

After watching Healer, a local Tea Party leader insisted: "I don't trust any man's been book learnin' more n' 'bout four years. You know what ya' call them fellas what goes to college? Terrorists." Healer producer and director, Manly Pointer, agrees: "I've heard scientists say Australia was separated from Pangaea after a roundhouse kick from Chuck Norris, but that's a lie, and I'll tell you how I know: The Bible. Jesus taught us science is the devil's personal favorite pastime." Healer is a documentary about how Chuck "Doom and Destruction" Norris is bringing peace to every corner of the globe.
