Video: Chandler Massey & Freddie Smith Talk What's Ahead on "Days"

The fourth annual Day of Days fan event was held this past weekend at the Universal City Walk in Burbank to celebrate the long-running NBC soap Days Of Our Lives, which turns 46-years old on November 8th.The majority of the cast turned up to chat with fans, sign autographs and memorabilia, sing in a Days concert, participate in a Q&A and endure screams and love from the show’s very loyal fan base. 

With a much-touted rejuvenation including new sets, quicker storytelling, return of icons Deidre Hall (Marlena) and Drake Hogestyn (John) and, yes, a gay storyline featuring Chandler Massey’s character, Will Horton, there was much to celebrate.

AfterElton.com grabbed a few minutes with actors Massey, Camila Banus (who plays Will’s soon-to-be-heartbroken-girlfriend Gaby), Freddie Smith (Sonny) and Casey Diedrick (Chad) to discuss the storyline and, also, how Massey is feeling about this new direction, which he previously had been unable to talk about due to a press lockdown that has finally been lifted.
