Watch/Discuss Last Night's "Happy Endings:" Minister Max and the Flaming Beard

Lovable loser Shershow (the adorkable T.J. Miller) is getting married, and it affects each of his old friends differently on last night's Season Finale of Happy Endings.

Max decides to get his minister license in order to officiate. Unfortunately, that means he sorta-kinda didn't have a license when he officiated the wedding of Jane and Brad, a fact that Jane uses to plan the second wedding of her dreams.

Alex and Dave vow to be each other's "wingman" at the wedding, and help each other to get laid. It works out well ... for one of them.

But this episode belonged to Penny, who was afraid that with her "safety" getting married, she would end up being the new Shershow of the group. So she lies and says she's engaged ... to the ubergay Derek (once again played by the fabulous Stephen Guarino).

Unfortunately, the only way that Derek can act butch is by using his thespian skills to channel Danny Zuko from Grease.

On a side note, Max cleans up nicely (and bears a striking resemblance to Glee's Karofsky).

You can see the episode below. What were your favorite bits? I loved the final conversation with Penny and Max, in which she called him her "gayfety," and he managed to completely support her while still being the aloof and adorably sarcastic Max we all love.

And the question of the day - Scruffy Max or scrubbed Max?
